The Browns entrusted Sideco with the restoration of their beautiful historic home on Mount Nebo—a home that held deep sentimental value as it had once belonged to her grandparents. When the opportunity arose to purchase the over 100-year-old house, they knew they wanted to restore it to its original grandeur from the 1920s.
With Sideco's extensive experience in historical architecture, we were able to meticulously match the home’s original design with modern materials. We used James Hardie siding and trim, along with Marvin windows, to ensure the home’s exterior remained true to its historical roots while benefiting from modern durability. A new Mahogany front door and a custom-built front portico were added to enhance the home’s timeless appeal.
Recognizing the breathtaking views of the Arkansas River Valley, we knew that the back half of the home needed to be perfect for enjoying the scenery. We transformed the screened-in porch into a comfortable, climate-controlled sitting room, making it an ideal space to relax year-round. Additionally, we framed up a small addition for a new bedroom that offers stunning views of the valley, creating a seamless blend of historical charm and modern comfort.
Sideco’s careful attention to detail and dedication to preserving the home’s character resulted in a restoration that not only respects its history but also makes it a perfect sanctuary for the Browns to create new memories
