The Copelands first chose Sideco in 2018 to transform their home's exterior. Their beige siding was showing its age, and they were ready for a fresh look. We installed James Hardie 7" reveal siding in Evening Blue, creating a beautiful contrast with their red brick. We also upgraded all their windows to energy-efficient Marvin Windows in Pebble Gray, brightening their space while improving comfort. Interestingly, Evening Blue was named the 2025 Color of the Year - the Copelands were ahead of the trend by several years.
In 2024, the Copelands decided to enhance their home's entrance with a portico addition. This architectural element brought a new level of sophistication to their facade, creating a welcoming transition from outside to inside. The portico's clean lines and proportions complement their existing architecture while adding much-needed shelter from the elements. It's amazing how this single addition could so dramatically transform their home's curb appeal while maintaining a timeless, classic look.
